COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPY IN WEST MOLESEY

Welcome to Nina Saxton Counselling

Empowering change through acceptance and understanding

Hello, my name is Nina and welcome to a safe space for your emotional well-being.

I am a therapist providing short and long-term therapy to adult individuals in West Molesey and the surrounding areas.

Sessions are offered both face to face and online.

A confidential space to explore the thoughts, feelings and challenges in your life

I am a fully qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).

I offer a confidential, safe, warm and welcoming space for clients to openly express and explore their thoughts, feelings, fears, and the complexities of life. My core belief is in establishing a trustworthy, supportive, empathic and non-judgemental therapeutic relationship that encourages clients to freely discuss their concerns and navigate the challenges they face.

I use an integrative approach, drawing from various therapeutic models. This comprehensive method allows me to focus on both the present moment and explore past experiences, including the influence of the unconscious mind on our thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

I place great importance on accepting individuals for who they are and supporting their journey to address their concerns and embrace change, even when it is a challenging process. I wholeheartedly recognise that each person is unique, experiencing life and the world in their own distinct ways. Accordingly, I tailor my approach to meet the specific needs of each individual.

Life can be complicated and present challenges which may feel too difficult to navigate alone. Sometimes, we could all do with some support and I hope that I am able to help you if you are feeling like this.

As your therapist, I will not give you advice or tell you what to do. I am here to facilitate the space and together we will explore your inner thoughts and emotions, so that you feel empowered to change what isn’t working for you.

Exploration in counselling can be incredibly powerful and it can also be very challenging. I am here to listen, we will work at your own pace and I will support you every step of the way.

Your Story

I will listen to your story with sensitivity and empathy, ask compassionate questions, aiming to explore your thoughts, feelings and life to understand the areas that you are struggling with.

Working together

Our work together is to explore what’s happening in your life in the here and now and if appropriate, what’s happened in the past to try and make sense of these feelings and navigate a way through.

The Aim

My aim is to help provide you with a deeper understanding of yourself and to assist you in feeling more hopeful and fulfilled, with the confidence to make better, healthier choices that are right for you.
